Industrial refractory and ceramic solutions backed by four generations of experience.
The Ismail family began working in ceramics in Gujranwala in 1935. Building on that foundation, Ismail Ceramics was formally established in 1971 and today serves industrial clients with refractory bricks, castables, insulation products, and custom ceramic solutions.
Our mission
To provide the toughest materials for the toughest environments.
We deliver precision-engineered refractory solutions backed by practical technical support, helping our clients achieve safety, reliability, and efficiency in high-temperature applications.
Industrial focus
Refractory bricks, castables, insulation, and related ceramic products for demanding thermal applications.
Manufacturing base
Based in Gujranwala, one of Pakistan's key ceramic and industrial production hubs.
Our Story
Ismail Ceramics Refractory Company was founded in 1975 and is located in Gujranwala, Pakistan's largest refractory manufacturing base. Over more than 45 years of development, Ismail Ceramics has established five modern production branches covering raw materials and bauxite processing, refractory bricks, and castables, complemented by a dedicated R&D center and a testing center. Today, we are among the few large-scale modern refractory groups specializing in the full production chain — from raw materials through to semi-finished and finished products — as well as kiln refractory construction.
Our main products include Al₂O₃-SiO₂, silica, and magnesium-series shaped refractories, unshaped refractories, corundum, and more. These products are widely used in metallurgy, building materials, coke, petrochemicals, energy, chemicals, and other industries, and have earned a strong reputation in Pakistan and across Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa.
Ismail Ceramics holds ISO 9001:2000 certification. Guided by a corporate culture built on reliable quality, timely delivery, competitive pricing, and outstanding service, we are confident in our ability to be your best one-stop refractory materials solution.
